Testimonials – My Focus Glasses and ADD / ADHD
READ WHAT A LEADING PH.D. HAS TO SAY ABOUT MYFOCUS GLASSES AND ADD/ADHD
During the spring and summer of 2011, I offered MyFocus glasses to a number of my patients (11) who had ADD or ADHD. Four were children. I asked them, or their parents to complete an informal survey for 30 days as to whether the glasses helped and what kind of problems they encountered. As of this writing in October, 2011 most of the patients had finished the study. Eight of the patients were on medication prescribed by their doctors. Several of the patients were taking medication. Three could not complete the study because of physical limitations, such as not being able to move their head easily or finding they did not want to fill out any kind of survey. Six of the patients found substantial improvement with little or no side effects.
Some of the comments were: “It helped me focus.” “I could concentrate more easily.” “I felt less disorganized.” I would recommend that people who are on medication try these glasses as an additional helpful adjunct to controlling problems posed by ADD or ADHD. After using the glasses for a stipulated period, I would recommend that they then decide, after consulting with their doctor and psychologist, as to whether medication should be used as part of their continued treatment.
